At the UAS AGM, which was held immediately after the morning session of the 2018 Conference, Aveen McMullan stood down as Secretary and Aian Johnston, CARFE Crops Adviser was elected to the post.  Three new members were also elected to the committee, Richard Orr, Tony Bell and Ed Brown to replace others who had served their term on the committee.  A full list of the committee members for the coming year can be found by following this link  
Irish Tillage and Land Use Society   
2018 Study Tour to Romania
25 June to 1 July 2018 from Dublin
The tour will visit farms, supply companies, barge and ship ports on the Danube, research facilities and we will spend a day with Jim McCarthy who is farming out there close to the border with Moldova.  Open to UAS members.  Cost in region of €1,300 per person sharing.
